A property management system (PMS) is the computerized system used in a Hotel, Motel, Inn, Resort, B&B or Property Management Company used to manage guest lodging activities.
Guest lodging providers would typically use a property management system to manage guest reservations, check in and check out, billing, house keeping and management and reporting functions. Most property management systems will also integrate with other systems such as point of sale systems (POS) used in food and beverage outlets (restaurants) within the hotel and other systems that would include phone, movie or energy management.
